carwin leaves Santos with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Santos.
Santos looks gassed!
A left and a right from carwin both land. Nice combination.
It looks like Chris Santos has been cut.
A jab-cross combination lands for carwin and sends Santos crashing to the mat! carwin follows him down to the mat - Santos regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
