Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Damien Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fred Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Bring Da Ruckus. The crowd seem to be enjoying Perry's choice of entrance music: Lützenkirchen - Leer aber Techno. Fred Perry has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

8 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fred Perry! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Perry fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Perry looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Perry keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Perry stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Perry wants it to stay on the feet. Silva shoots for a takedown but Perry saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Damien Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him. Silva tries for a takedown but Perry sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Horrible takedown by Silva or perhaps it was just good defense by Perry which made him look bad. Perry clinches up against the cage. Perry is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Silva can't fight it off and eventually Perry manages to take the fight to the floor. Silva looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Perry drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Perry jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Silva has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
