Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Fujiwara and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Figuera moves out of range as Ossini throws a body kick.
Ossini uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Figuera.

Figuera throws a solid leg kick but Ossini takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Figuera.

Figuera fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ossini looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Figuera throws a leg kick which misses Ossini's front leg but catches the back leg as Ossini tries to avoid it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ossini drops down looking for an ankle pick but Figuera pulls his leg out and moves away.
Ossini seems to have got his legs back now.
Ossini is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Figuera is breathing heavily.
Ossini feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
