Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Thiago Cunha and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gouveia gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Gouveia looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Mac wants to pass the guard but Gouveia is keeping the position.
Mac trying to control but Gouveia is working from the bottom.
Mac drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mac jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Mac thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Gouveia wants to stand up but Mac is controlling him.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

That's time! Gouveia's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Mac fails with an attempt to clinch.
Mac tries to close the distance and clinch but Gouveia swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Mac closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Gouveia to the mat! Gouveia manages to get full guard.

Gouveia throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Mac is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mac keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Gouveia's head.

Gouveia utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Mac wants to get up but he can't break Gouveia's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Rodrigo Gouveia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mac closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Mac tries to move to mount but Gouveia blocks the move with his legs.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mac lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Gouveia down.
Gouveia is looking for a sweep.
Mac decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Nice body kick there by Mac.

Mac shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Mac showed some decent athleticism there.

Mac is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Gouveia gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Mac jumps guard but Gouveia stands there with Mac around his waist. Mac gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Lou Marwin Mac showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Mac sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Gouveia's guard.
Mac wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gouveia keeps working.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Mac is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Gouveia wants to improve his position but Mac is controlling well.
Mac seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Gouveia is trying to stand up here but Mac is controlling him well.
Mac thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
