Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stjepan Kovacevic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson moves in looking to clinch but Kovacevic pushes him off.
Kovacevic throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jackson was covering up waiting for the punch and Kovacevic finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Jackson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Jackson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

so Jackson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Kovacevic drops back looking for a leg! Jackson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jackson manages to kick Kovacevic off! Kovacevic jumps back into Jackson's guard.

Kovacevic postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jackson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Kovacevic, into his guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Frank Jackson will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Kovacevic enables Jackson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kovacevic manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Kovacevic throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Jackson gets to his feet - Kovacevic follows without any prompting.
Jackson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
