Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Lavronenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tatsuo Nakano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nakano has chosen Disturbed - Decadance as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Lavronenko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tatsuo Nakano! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nakano uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lavronenko. Nakano connects with a nice looking jab.
Lavronenko circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ivan Lavronenko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lavronenko moves in looking to clinch but Nakano pushes him off. Lavronenko takes the fight into the clinch. Lavronenko's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Nakano avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

and Nakano counters with a lovely shot to the body. Nakano darts in trying to clinch and Lavronenko counters by clinching up. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Nakano tries to pull guard but Lavronenko holds him up against the cage and eventually Nakano drops back down to his feet.

Tatsuo Nakano showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Nakano working for a triangle but Lavronenko defends it easily.
Lavronenko is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Nakano is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Nakano has escaped and now he's on top!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lavronenko wants to sweep here but Nakano controlling him for the moment. Nakano looking to pass the guard. Nakano drops back, looking for a kneebar! Lavronenko looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Lavronenko looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Lavronenko! Lavronenko controls the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nakano is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Lavronenko's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Lavronenko lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Nakano is trying to get back to full guard. Lavronenko decides to stand and escape the position. Lavronenko throws a front kick aimed at Nakano's knee but Nakano avoids it well. Nakano is looking to clinch but Lavronenko is avoiding it.
Nakano wants to clinch but Lavronenko slips to the side and Lavronenko counters with a thumping low kick. Lavronenko has closed the distance and engaged Nakano in a clinch.
Nakano tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Lavronenko just stands there and leans against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lavronenko tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Nakano pulls guard. Lavronenko trying to control the position from guard on top but Nakano is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lavronenko working some strikes from top position. Nakano looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Nakano is working an open guard so Lavronenko takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Tatsuo Nakano seems to be getting the better of the standup. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! An inside leg kick from Lavronenko misses. Nakano showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Lavronenko.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lavronenko throws a front kick aimed at Nakano's knee but Nakano avoids it well. Nakano moves into the clinch.
