Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Thomas More (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jarkko Rautavaara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rautavaara is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Stranglers - No More Heroes. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

10 - 12 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jarkko Rautavaara! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Sergei Dronov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! More avoids the body shot from Rautavaara.
Rautavaara fails with the takedown. Rautavaara clinches up against the cage. Rautavaara lands with a left to the head. Knees in the clinch landing for Rautavaara.

More is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. A nice right hand lands inside from Rautavaara. Kneeeeees! Rautavaara has More pressed against the cage, preventing More from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Rautavaara scores a nice knee to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Rautavaara lands an elbow just above More 's eye. Rautavaara pushes More back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Rautavaara ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Rautavaara no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Rautavaara looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but More puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Rautavaara is controlling More's position as best he can from this difficult position. Rautavaara manages to get to full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Rautavaara pulls More in to control the position. More postures up.
More avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Rautavaara is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. More wants to stand and escape but instead Rautavaara has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. More avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rautavaara throwing strikes from guard but More blocks nicely. Rautavaara wants to control from the top but More keeps moving. Rautavaara sitting in guard, not really doing much. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jarkko Rautavaara dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Thomas More is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Rautavaara displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as More throws out the jab. More keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. More throws a big shot that misses. More thows a left - swing and a miss! Rautavaara scores with a jab to the body. Rautavaara walks straight into a right hand from More - that's dropped him! More jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Rautavaara from any more punishment! Rautavaara complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
