Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramond Lizard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nick Diaz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ramond Lizard! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Konstantin Menshow and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Lizard fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Diaz avoids it really well and circles away. Lizard fails to land the takedown. Lizard tries to close the distance and clinch but Diaz swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Diaz pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Diaz loads up on a big right hand but Lizard slips the punch. Lizard fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Diaz avoids it really well and circles away. Nick Diaz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ramond Lizard. The fight moves into the clinch position. Diaz is trying to trip Lizard. He has hold of a leg but Lizard is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Diaz persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Lizard controls Diaz momentarily but Diaz frees himself. Lizard working a defensive guard but Diaz manages to pass into side control anyway.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lizard takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Diaz thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Diaz takes a little break here. Lizard wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Diaz connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Lizard some visible discomfort.
Diaz looks up at the clock and then as Lizard takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Diaz smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Lizard takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Diaz wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Lizard, who protects the arm well. Lizard is working to avoid the ground and pound but Diaz connects with a decent elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lizard tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Diaz wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lizard looks gassed! Diaz landing a few strikes. Diaz looks up at the clock and then as Lizard takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Diaz smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Diaz in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Diaz landing strikes. Diaz lands a nice forearm strike.
Lizard is rocked! A big shot lands for Diaz! That's hurt Lizard! Will he recover? Diaz fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
