The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcloud fails with a takedown attempt.
Hastings shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Mcloud manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Hastings stands up and waves to Mcloud to follow him.
Mcloud shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hastings as he avoids it easily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Mcloud. Hastings does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hastings doesn't manage to clinch there - Mcloud circles away.
Mcloud misses with a takedown
and Hastings counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Mcloud's guard now.
Davey Boy Hastings has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mac Mcloud.
Hastings is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hastings postures up.
Hastings wants to control from the top but Mcloud keeps moving.
Hastings tries to stand but Mcloud is controlling from the bottom.

Mcloud is trying to get back to full guard.
Hastings is trying for a kimura here. Mcloud looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Hastings wins by kimura!
