Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ronnie Lott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Lindh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ronnie Lott has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Thomas Lindh!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lindh connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Lindh fails in his attempt to clinch.
Lindh scores with a kick to the midsection.
Lindh tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Lott lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lindh circles away quickly and effectively.
Lindh slips under a jab.
Lindh plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Lindh shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lott as he jumps to the side.
Lindh drops his hands momentarily and Lott takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Lindh connects with a solid leg kick.
Lindh shoots in but no luck this time.
Nice sprawl there from Lott as Lindh shoots in.
Ronnie Lott has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thomas Lindh.
Lott cracks Lindh with a good jab.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lott rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lindh moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Lott closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Lindh shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lott sprawls well. Lott wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lindh gets slowly back to his feet.

Lindh throws a sloppy head kick and Lott moves out of range easily.
Lindh looks for a takedown but Lott sprawls well.
Lott throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Lott throws a leg kick

and Lindh counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Lott's guard now.
Lott is trying to keep Lindh in close.
Lott wants to improve his position but instead Lindh has moved into half guard.

Lindh is trying to work for a kimura but Lott is defending well.

Lindh content to control rather than advance.
Lindh wants to take a breather but Lott is having none of it.

Lindh not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Lott tries to kick Lindh off in order to stand up. Lindh Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lindh tries to advance to mount but can't.
Lindh controls the position.
Lott knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lindh on the ground.
Lott is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Lindh remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Lott parries the strikes from Lindh easily there. Lindh is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Lott to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lindh looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Lott is avoiding damage well.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Lindh remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Lindh decides to take the fight back to the feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Lindh slips under a jab from Lott.
Lott throws a right and a left that Lindh avoids nicely.
Lindh misses with a head kick.
Lindh changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lott tries to avoid it but Lindh manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lott to the ground. Lott escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lindh avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lott rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lindh moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Lott throws a right and a left that Lindh avoids nicely.
Nice straight punches there by Lott. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Lott.
Lindh closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lott circles away.
Lott has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Lott swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Lindh counters with a good low kick that Lott was not able to check.
Lott throws a combination that misses

and Lindh counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lindh.
Lindh missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Lindh stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Lindh throws a leg kick that misses.
Lott's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Lott duly obliges.

Lindh drives through and clinches with Lott against the cage.
Lindh tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Ronnie Lott has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thomas Lindh.
Lott tries to break free but Lindh pushes him back against the cage.
Lott stops a takedown attempt from Lindh.
Lindh keeps control of Lott as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
The referee calls for Lindh to work.
Lott is pressed up against the cage. Lindh has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Lott down to the mat. Lott avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Lott jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A combination from Lott does no damage.
Ronnie Lott is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Lindh avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lindh looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lott is fending him off so far but Lindh persists. Nope, Lott circles away and we're back to standing.
Lindh tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Lott manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Lott throws a right hand that Lindh ducks under and follows up with a left that Lindh also avoids with ease.
Lott fails to land with a series of punches.
Lindh shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lott but Lott pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Lindh shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Lindh is breathing heavily.
Lindh looking to control and managing it successfully.
Lott wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

Lindh tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Lindh scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Lott?

Lindh wants to control the pace but Lott is squirming around nicely.
Lott tries to lock up and control but Lindh gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Lindh content just to control the position here.

Thomas Lindh showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!


A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lindh.
Lott buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

and Lindh counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Lott!

Lindh wants to finish this one by submission but Lott is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Lindh.
Lindh looking to control but Lott is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Lindh throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Lott has his hands clasped together but Lindh breaks the hold and Lott is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Lindh!
