The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDonald stuffs the takedown attempt from Sanderland. Sanderland gets slowly back to his feet.
McDonald lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Sanderland at a distance.
Sanderland slips a straight right by McDonald.
McDonald lands a nice shot that snaps Sanderland's head back.
Sanderland shoots in for a takedown but McDonald shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
A solid leg kick lands there for McDonald.
Sanderland looks gassed!
McDonald is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Sanderland needs to keep his hands up - McDonald had a free shot at his head there.
McDonald fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Sanderland has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

A chopping leg kick lands by McDonald.
McDonald cracks Sanderland with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.
McDonald connects with a leg kick. Sanderland looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
McDonald drops Sanderland with a beautiful combination! Sanderland stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - McDonald is looking for the KO!
Sanderland is rocked!
It looks like Arm Sanderland has been cut.
McDonald moves into range and clinches up with Sanderland.
Sanderland is still on wobbly legs! Can McDonald finish him?
Sanderland takes a shot to the head.
McDonald drops Sanderland onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Sanderland is propped up by the ropes and works his way back to his feet!
