The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silvia is looking to clinch.

Sankari throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Silvia tries to clinch there but Sankari circles away.
Silvia shoots for a double leg takedown but Sankari sprawls well. He's pushed Silvia's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Sankari avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Waldemar Silvia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sankari gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Sankari bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Silvia's guard.
