PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Handley Teuma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenji Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Dream . We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Teuma misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lee throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Teuma's waist but Teuma gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lee off to one side.
Teuma lands a nice leg kick that just misses Lee's sensitive parts.

Teuma tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lee paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Lee shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Lee was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Teuma makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Teuma.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Teuma wants to get back to his feet.

Lee is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Teuma defends it well.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Lee escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Teuma gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Lee looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Lee is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Lee moves nicely into side control.
Lee in side control lands a decent elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lee has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Lee tries for a takedown but Teuma circles away easily

and Teuma counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lee won't be happy with that.
Lee manages to work his way to half guard, despite Teuma's best efforts.

Teuma is keen to just control but Lee is a slippery customer.
Lee makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Lee.
Teuma wants to control from the top but Lee keeps moving.
Teuma connects with a couple of short punches.

Lee is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Teuma is working Lee over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Lee has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Teuma. Oh but Lee has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Teuma goes limp - he's gone! Lee jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
