The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Steve Montenegro and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maris tries to keep at a distance but Murometz has taken the fight into the clinch.
Murometz breaks the clinch.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Murometz tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Murometz lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
It looks like Johnny Maris has been cut.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Maris is trying to push Murometz away but Murometz has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Murometz tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Maris avoids it.

Maris is trying to break the clinch but Murometz is controlling him.

Maris lands a left and a right that send Murometz crashing to the mat, dazed. Maris thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Ilya Murometz has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Maris lands a huge takedown. Murometz is out but the ref is slow to react and Maris lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Murometz lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.
