Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Mendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hammer comes to the ring accompanied by Nine Inch Nails - Wish. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Hammer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tony Mendez! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hammer looks to land a left hand but Mendez moved out of range nicely. Mendez gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Hammer digs a good body shot into Mendez's ribs. A telegraphed right hand from Hammer misses the target. Mendez shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hammer defends it nicely. Mendez takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Hammer gets a takedown into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hammer prevents Mendez from improving his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mendez wants to sweep but Hammer has passed to side control! Hammer landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Mendez tries to buck Hammer off but Hammer is having none of it. Mendez gets back to half guard. Hammer working the head and body with strikes. Mendez actively working from the bottom here. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Mendez is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hammer's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hammer's back! Mendez misses with punches from the back. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Mendez has got his arm under Hammer's chin working for the choke… has he got it? It looks pretty tight! Oh! Hammer has spun round into Mendez's guard beautifully! Well done that man!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Mendez is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Hammer scores with a couple of nice shots. Mendez is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hammer's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hammer's back! Hammer avoids the strikes from Mendez. Hammer covering up well under a barage of strikes. Mendez missing with punches from the back. Hammer rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Hammer preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Hammer is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Mendez not landing any meaningful shots this time. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hammer slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Mendez content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Hammer looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mendez is one step ahead there. Mendez postures up in Hammer's guard and throws a big left but Hammer blocks it. Mendez stopping the sweep attempt from Hammer. Mendez is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Hammer working a defensive guard here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Hammer working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Mendez. Mendez throwing strikes from guard but Hammer blocks nicely. Hammer wants to sweep but no luck. Hammer has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Mendez stopping the sweep attempt from Hammer. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mendez forces his way into half guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Mendez is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hammer defends it well. Mendez thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hammer's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Hammer dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Hammer throws a lazy right hand but Mendez sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Mendez moves out of range as Hammer strikes. A big right from Hammer misses. Hammer lands a right hook to the body.
Mendez shoots for a takedown but Hammer saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Mendez decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Mendez has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Hammer defend it? Mendez steps over the head and cranks it - Hammer is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Mendez!
