The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lake shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. A punch combination from Ferreria misses. Lake fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ferreria sprawls well initially but Lake persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Lake trying to control from half guard but Ferreria is working away. Lake is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ferreria defends it well. Lake is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Ferreria has managed to free his arm - good work. Lake wants to pass the guard but Ferreria is defending well. Lake wants to work for an arm triangle but Ferreria is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Lake is looking for a kimura but Ferreria is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Lake to get the leverage. Ferreria is trying to stand up here but Lake is controlling him well. Lake seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Ferreria is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
