Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Blaise Lamont (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Knighton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Knighton has chosen Move by Thousand Foot Krutch as his entrance music. Danny Knighton is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Blaise Lamont! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Danny Knighton! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Anthony Taglia and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lamont is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Knighton on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Lamont looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Knighton is in trouble now - Lamont has advanced to mount! Lamont swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Knighton is now in Lamont's guard. A big mistake from Lamont there, giving up the dominant position! Lamont will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Lamont pulls Knighton in close to prevent any damage. Knighton trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Knighton must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Lamont utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Knighton drops back, looking for a kneebar! Lamont looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Lamont looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Lamont!
That's one minute gone in the round. Knighton taking punishment in the form of punches.
Lamont tries for a kimura but Knighton is defending well. Lamont trying to control the position but Knighton is working away. Lamont content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lamont trying to control the position but Knighton is working away. Lamont tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lamont has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lamont goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Knighton rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Lamont's guard! Nice work there by Knighton! Lamont is pulling down on Knighton's head to control his posture. Lamont has his foot on Knighton's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Knighton works his way back into a safe position though. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lamont is on top in guard.
Lamont thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lamont engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Lamont works a leg free and moves into half guard. Knighton looks gassed! Lamont works his way into side control. Lamont is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Knighton looks calm but he's in trouble here. Lamont gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Knighton is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Lamont lets go of the hold and Knighton can pop his arm back in it's socket.
