Knighton has chosen Move by Thousand Foot Krutch as his entrance music. Danny Knighton is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lamont is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Knighton on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Lamont looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Knighton is in trouble now - Lamont has advanced to mount!

Lamont swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Knighton is now in Lamont's guard. A big mistake from Lamont there, giving up the dominant position!
Lamont will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Lamont pulls Knighton in close to prevent any damage.
Knighton trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Knighton must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Knighton drops back, looking for a kneebar! Lamont looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Lamont looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Lamont!
