Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Matheus Silva and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson lands an overhand right.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Rua. Jackson shrugs it off though.
Rua throws a sloppy head kick and Jackson moves out of range easily.
Jackson just misses with a punch to the body.
A jab from Rua misses.
Jackson avoids the head kick by Rua.
Rua misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jackson takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Rua throws a head kick that misses.
Jackson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Rua's head backwards.
Rua ducks right into an uppercut from Jackson.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rua pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Rua throws a jab but it's blocked by Jackson.
Rua throws a head kick that misses.
A slow jab from Jackson misses its intended target.
Rua throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rua staying out of range there.
Rua tries a head kick but it misses.
A jab lands there for Jackson.
No joy there for Jackson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jackson cracks Rua with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Rua misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jackson scores with a jab.
Rua looks gassed!
Jackson loads up on a big right hand but Rua slips the punch.
Jackson on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Both fighters circling a little - Rua finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Jackson lands a glancing blow to the side of Rua's head.
Rua is rocked!
Rua ducks into an uppercut from Jackson and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jack Jackson!
