Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mihail Korsanow! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mike Brown! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Illya Tyunina and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Korsanow. A combination from Brown does no damage. Brown misses with a few strikes there.

Korsanow dodges the punch combination from Brown.
A left and a right from Brown both land. Nice combination. Brown throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Brown misses with the combination.
Korsanow tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Brown was well out of range. Poor timing from Korsanow. Brown misses with a few strikes there.
Korsanow shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Brown as he jumps to the side. Korsanow fails with a takedown attempt. Brown throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Left hook, right uppercut from Korsanow. Brown swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Korsanow counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Brown looks gassed!

and Korsanow counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Korsanow throws a right hand that Brown ducks under and follows up with a left that Brown also avoids with ease. Brown falls off balance throwing a combination
and Korsanow counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Brown thinking. Brown has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Korsanow throws a series of punches but Brown moves out of range. Brown throws a combination that misses and Korsanow counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Brown thinking. Korsanow cracks Brown with an open hand slap. Brown swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Korsanow cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Brown lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Brown. Brown keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Korsanow. Brown misses with a double jab
and Korsanow counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Korsanow showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Brown.
Mike Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Korsanow clobbers Brown with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Brown looks to land a combination. Korsanow sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Brown falls off balance throwing a combination
so Korsanow counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Korsanow drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Korsanow jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Brown wants to stand and escape but Korsanow is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Korsanow wants to control from the top but Brown keeps moving. Korsanow looking to sit in guard and control but Brown gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Korsanow looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Brown wanted to stand there but Korsanow had control of the position. Brown must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Korsanow looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Korsanow pushes a forearm under Brown's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Brown is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
