The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Natsuki throws a front kick aimed at Wylde Rhoads's knee but Wylde Rhoads avoids it well.
Natsuki throws a low kick but Wylde Rhoads moves out of range easily.
Natsuki misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Wylde Rhoads cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Natsuki swings widly with a right hand
and Wylde Rhoads counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

so Natsuki counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Natsuki seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Wylde Rhoads does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Natsuki connects with a nice short shot to Wylde Rhoads's temple.
Natsuki has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Natsuki lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Wylde Rhoads is desperately trying to improve his position but Natsuki has a good base and remains in mount.
Wylde Rhoads is bucking up trying to escape but Natsuki cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
