Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between McGillicuddy Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aang Havatar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that McGillicuddy Jones has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily McGillicuddy Jones seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, McGillicuddy Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Aang Havatar! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones misses with a series of wild punches.
Jones throws an overhand right that lands on Havatar's shoulder, as Havatar tries to avoid the shot. McGillicuddy Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jones tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Havatar was well out of range. Poor timing from Jones. Jones lands a left and a right that send Havatar crashing to the mat, dazed. Jones thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Havatar is rocked!
It looks like Aang Havatar has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Havatar misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jones.
Havatar is still on wobbly legs! Can Jones finish him? Havatar shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jones but Jones pushes him off and we're back to square one. Havatar ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jones moves away. Havatar seems to have recovered his senses. Havatar uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jones. Jones avoids the body shot from Havatar.
Havatar throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jones's waist but Jones gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Havatar off to one side. A telegraphed right hand from Jones misses the target. Jones fails to land with a series of punches.
Jones looks to land a left hand but Havatar moved out of range nicely. Jones lands a lovely overhand right. Jones throws a shot from downtown. Havatar moves away and avoids it. Havatar moves into the clinch. Jones wants to get back to striking at distance but Havatar won't allow it.
Jones prevents a takedown attempt there.
McGillicuddy Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aang Havatar. Jones has had enough of the clinch but Havatar keeps him there for the moment. Jones is trying to break free. Havatar tries to throw a body punch but Jones avoids it by throwing Havatar back against the cage. Havatar manages to pull guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Havatar is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Jones rolls with it to try and escape but Havatar cranks on the arm and Jones is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Aang Havatar!
