Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harald Loe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maksim Nikifor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Loe's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Gluicefer - I got a war. Nikifor has chosen Enae Volare Mezzo as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Maksim Nikifor enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
17 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Harald Loe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
12 - 8 - 2, fighting out of St Petersburg, Maksim Nikifor!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Dmitry Maklakov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nikifor throws a series of punches but Loe moves out of range.
Nikifor tries to bum rush Loe with a series of wild strikes but Loe uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Nikifor swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Loe.
Nikifor misses with a double jab.
Loe closes the distance and clinches up with Nikifor, looking for a takedown. Loe pushes Nikifor against the cage but Nikifor circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Loe feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Loe accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Loe postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Loe is looking to advance position but Nikifor has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Nikifor looks gassed!
Loe is trying to escape the mount.
Loe sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Loe manages to get to full guard.
Loe pulls Nikifor in close to his closed guard and prevents Nikifor from doing any damage or advancing position.
Loe throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Loe manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Nikifor really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Loe. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Loe connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Loe tries to control but Nikifor wriggling away.
Loe misses with a head shot.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nikifor is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Loe misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Loe unloads with some shots from mount but Nikifor bucks and avoids them well.
The referee warns Nikifor that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Nikifor takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Loe throws some wild stikes that Nikifor manages to avoid easily.
Loe tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Loe throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Loe lands a big shot there that rocks Nikifor but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Nikifor wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Loe.
Nikifor is in a horrible position here. Loe smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Loe sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Nikifor is in a horrible position here. Loe smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Nikifor is rocked!
Loe postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Nikifor in real trouble here! The ref calls for Nikifor to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Harald Loe!
