Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simon Adebisi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Javier Gattuso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adebisi comes to the cage accompanied by Go Go Adebisi. Gattuso comes into a darkened arena with his song building. DMX - X Gonna Give It To Ya kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adebisi drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Adebisi thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Adebisi is looking to take a break and control but Gattuso is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Adebisi wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Gattuso, who protects the arm well.
Adebisi tries for a kimura but Gattuso is defending well.
Gattuso avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Adebisi.

Gattuso holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Adebisi tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Adebisi has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Adebisi throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Adebisi has control of Gattuso's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Gattuso regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Adebisi lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Gattuso hang on?
Adebisi throws some wild stikes that Gattuso manages to avoid easily.

Gattuso is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Adebisi locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Gattuso is forced to tap!
