Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Leon The Professional (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rashad Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Professional comes to the cage accompanied by Chop 'em Down. Jackson has chosen Wu Tang - Triumph as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Leon The Professional! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rashad Jackson! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Patrick Alders and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Professional pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jackson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent The Professional stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Jackson on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by The Professional. The Professional obviously looking to wear him down.
Jackson throws out a loose jab but The Professional uses good head movement to avoid it. The Professional lands with a slapping head kick. Jackson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
The Professional takes a swing at Jackson's ribcage but misses. Jackson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The Professional looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Jackson trying to control the action but The Professional is working from the bottom. Jackson cracks The Professional with a big elbow. Jackson staying calm.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson misses with the ground and pound. Jackson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. The Professional prevents Jackson from improving position. The Professional can't do much from the bottom here. The Professional tries to get back to half guard but can't. The Professional is holding Jackson down, trying to stall.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Jackson working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Jackson throwing shots but missing, from side control. The Professional dodges the ground and pound from Jackson. Jackson working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Jackson tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Jackson is trying to get an arm triangle but The Professional is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The Professional managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Jackson.
The Professional is not content to let Jackson control the position. Jackson working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Jackson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but The Professional is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. The Professional sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. The Professional trying to control from the bottom.
Jackson trying to mount his opponent but The Professional defends it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rashad Jackson dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
The Professional goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from The Professional. Jackson shrugs it off though. The Professional misses with a body kick. The Professional tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. The Professional turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. The Professional misses with a body shot.
The Professional throws a leg kick but Jackson sees it coming and checks it nicely. Nice straight punches there by The Professional. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of The Professional. The Professional tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jackson swats him away and circles back towards the center. The Professional misses with a body shot
and Jackson counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Jackson. Jackson trying to control the position from guard on top but The Professional is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson with a flurry of punches that miss. Jackson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Jackson tries to free his leg and advance position but The Professional is retaining full guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Jackson wants to control from the top but The Professional keeps moving.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Rashad Jackson wasn't active enough on the ground. The Professional dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Jackson. That did some damage!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Good leg kick by The Professional there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Jackson lands a lovely overhand right. Jackson throws the kick towards the body but The Professional avoids it. The Professional wants to clinch. The Professional staying out of range there. The Professional defending well as Jackson loads up on a big left hand. The Professional slips under a jab from Jackson. The Professional lands a nice looking kick to the body. Jackson takes a step back to recover. Jackson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from The Professional. Jackson shoots in and gets a takedown into The Professional's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The Professional avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Jackson drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but The Professional manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Jackson has The Professional in his guard. Jackson looking to control.
The Professional wants to control from the top but Jackson keeps moving. Jackson looking for submissions from the bottom but instead The Professional passes into half guard.
The Professional seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The Professional trying to advance position but Jackson counters by regaining guard. The Professional preventing the sweep. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Leon The Professional will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Jackson takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. A looping hook to the body misses from The Professional. Jackson does a little dance to reset his feet. The Professional throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Jackson counters with a nice double leg into side control. The Professional won't be happy with that. The Professional tries to buck Jackson off but Jackson is having none of it. Jackson in side control, just content to control the action for now. An elbow from Jackson crashes against the mat.
The Professional is not content to let Jackson control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson working away. You can see the frustration on The Professional's face as Jackson controls the position. The Professional defending against the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The Professional prevents Jackson from improving position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Jackson throws a strike aimed at the side of The Professional's head but The Professional avoids it well. Jackson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. The Professional knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. You can see the frustration on The Professional's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Jackson is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, The Professional has escaped the position, nice work there.

The Professional takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Sloppy strikes there by Jackson. Jackson goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, The Professional rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Jackson's guard! Nice work there by The Professional!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jackson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Jackson throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Jackson working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on The Professional's thigh. The Professional counters though and makes it back to full guard. Jackson throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rashad Jackson really dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
A head kick misses from The Professional. The Professional throws a head kick but Jackson moves out of range.
Jackson defending well as The Professional loads up on a big left hand. Jackson fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches The Professional on the side of the head. Jackson lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
The Professional throws a leg kick and Jackson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Jackson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but The Professional was well out of range. Poor timing from Jackson. Jackson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. The Professional looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. The Professional looks for the body kick but Jackson saw that one coming. The Professional fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Jackson checks it well. The Professional throws a body punch but Jackson moves out of range. The Professional tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jackson was well out of range. Poor timing from The Professional. The Professional thows a left - swing and a miss!
That's one minute gone in the round. The Professional slips under a jab from Jackson. The Professional tries to land a front kick but Jackson steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Jackson misses with a body shot.
Jackson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jackson waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract The Professional. The Professional throws a lazy head kick enabling Jackson to counter with a crisp jab. The Professional throws a leg kick that is checked and Jackson counters with a single leg into guard. The Professional didn't expect that. Jackson passes The Professional's right leg, so he's now in half guard. The Professional blocking the ground and pound attempt from Jackson. Jackson looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Jackson trying to control the action but The Professional is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The Professional is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Jackson works his way into side control. Jackson throws a strike aimed at the side of The Professional's head but The Professional avoids it well.

A lull in the action here. Jackson in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Jackson trying to control the action but The Professional is working from the bottom. Jackson is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

The Professional prevents Jackson from improving position. Jackson wants to take a breather but The Professional manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Jackson. Jackson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. The Professional fails with an attempt to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jackson looks to land a right hand but The Professional moved out of range. Jackson just misses with a punch to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round. The Professional is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Jackson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but The Professional manages to avoid it. Jackson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as The Professional sprawls well. The Professional wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jackson gets slowly back to his feet. The Professional throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Jackson falls off balance throwing a combination
and The Professional counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Decent striking displayed by The Professional there. Leon The Professional is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Jackson looks to score with a jab to the body but The Professional is just out of range. The Professional uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jackson. Leon The Professional has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson doesn't succeed with the takedown and The Professional counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Leon The Professional has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rashad Jackson. The Professional swings away with a body shot that misses
and Jackson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The Professional bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jackson's guard. The Professional trying to control but Jackson is working from the bottom. Jackson seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. The Professional is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. The Professional preventing the sweep.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Leon The Professional. Jackson lands with a nice body punch. The Professional wants to land a leg kick but Jackson is out of range. Jackson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed The Professional momentarily.
The Professional tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. The Professional lands a nice looking kick to the body. Jackson takes a step back to recover.
And that's the end of the fight! Leon The Professional showed his dominance in that final round. I think Jackson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
