Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergeant Peppers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peppers's entrance music is No Song. A fine choice. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sergeant Peppers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Steel! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Wagner Zegers and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steel is looking to clinch but Peppers is avoiding it.
Peppers swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Steel scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
It looks like Sergeant Peppers has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Steel walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Steel is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Peppers.
It looks like John Steel has been cut. Steel throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Peppers counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Peppers connects with a body shot that sends Steel's belly button to the back. Peppers smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Steel swings away with a body shot that misses
and Peppers counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Steel! Peppers controlling from the full mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peppers's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Peppers is in the full mount, landing strikes. Peppers controlling his opponent. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Peppers thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Peppers goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Steel is on top in guard.
Peppers is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Peppers manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Steel manages to get himself to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Peppers drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Steel manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Peppers has Steel in his guard. Peppers is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sergeant Peppers dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Steel misses with a double jab
and Peppers connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Steel darts in trying to clinch and Peppers counters with a nice double leg into guard. Steel keeping moving, preventing Peppers from controlling successfully. Peppers postures up in Steel's guard and throws a big left but Steel blocks it. Peppers stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Steel swivels though and keeps the full guard. Steel can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Peppers controls the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Peppers wants to control from the top but Steel keeps moving.
We're going to have a standup here because Sergeant Peppers wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Steel looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Peppers on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Steel throws a right and a left that Peppers avoids nicely. Peppers fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Steel to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Steel looks to clinch but Peppers throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Steel taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Sergeant Peppers!
