Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kot Vaska (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Payette (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Andre Payette was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kot Vaska! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Andre Payette! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Payette will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Vaska bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Payette steps into range and cracks Vaska with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Vaska flops backwards and Payette dives into his guard looking to finish!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Payette stands up over Vaska, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Vaska is rocked!
Kot Vaska's cut is getting worse. Payette throwing strikes but missing. Vaska is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Payette is stalling in the full guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Payette pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Vaska is keeping the position for now. Vaska wants to sweep but no luck.
That's one minute gone in the round. Payette wants to control from the top but Vaska keeps moving. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Vaska wants to sweep here but Payette controlling him for the moment. Vaska has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Payette can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Payette showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Payette works a leg free and moves into half guard. Vaska tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Payette has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Payette looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Payette landing strikes from the mount. Payette dominating with strikes here.
Jeez, Kot Vaska's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Kot Vaska's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Andre Payette!
