Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kot Vaska (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Payette (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Andre Payette was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Payette will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Vaska bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Payette steps into range and cracks Vaska with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Vaska flops backwards and Payette dives into his guard looking to finish!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Payette stands up over Vaska, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Vaska is rocked!
Kot Vaska's cut is getting worse.
Payette throwing strikes but missing.
Vaska is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Payette is stalling in the full guard.

Vaska has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Payette can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
