Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between JD Wood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dog Catcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for JD Wood has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, JD Wood!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dog Catcher!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Catcher rushes Wood and presses him up against the cage.

Wood connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Wood rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Catcher moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Catcher is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Wood defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Catcher is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Catcher gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Catcher gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Catcher apologises and we restart here on the feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Catcher looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
