Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Geoff Deal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abel Stamp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 9 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Geoff Deal! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Abel Stamp! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Dmitry Maklakov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stamp looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Stamp uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Deal.
Abel Stamp seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stamp misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Deal avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Stamp connects with a nice looking jab.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Stamp is defended easily by Deal. Stamp shoots in for a takedown but Deal shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Stamp is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Deal's half guard. Deal is trying is best to control the position here. Stamp trying to control from half guard but Deal is working away. Deal wants to get back to full guard. Stamp tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Deal. Deal gets back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stamp throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Deal has control of Stamp's left arm, preventing Stamp from doing any damage. Stamp looking to sit in guard and control but Deal gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Stamp is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Deal controlling from the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Stamp is looking for a triangle but Deal pushes his legs off easily.
Stamp looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Deal stops Stamp from standing up. Deal wants to control from the top but Stamp keeps moving. Stamp can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Deal controls the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stamp is looking to sweep but instead, Deal has passed into half guard.
Deal is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Stamp moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Stamp wants to sweep here but Deal controlling him for the moment. Stamp pushes Deal off and gets back to his feet.
Deal keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Geoff Deal has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Abel Stamp.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stamp misses with a hook. Deal looks for the body kick but Stamp saw that one coming. Deal misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

and Deal counters with a nice body shot. Stamp throws a nice looking combination but Deal bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Deal circles away from the clinch attempt and Deal counters with a low kick, right behind Stamp 's knee. Deal misses with an uppercut. Stamp lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Stamp throws a hook to the side of Deal's head but Deal sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. A leg kick checked by Stamp. Deal tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Stamp takes a shot right to the bread basket. Stamp shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Geoff Deal will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Deal obviously looking to wear him down.

Deal fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Stamp. Stamp throws out a loose jab but Deal uses good head movement to avoid it. Deal connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Deal looking to land some kicks to the body here.

That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Stamp closes the distance looking to clinch and Deal counters with a head kick. That will keep Stamp thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Stamp gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Deal counters with a right hand to the body. Stamp connects with a looping right hand.
Deal keeps Stamp at a distance using the push kick. Deal is looking to wear down Stamp with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. A head kick by Stamp misses and Deal counters with a nice body shot. Stamp is breathing heavily. Stamp with a lazy takedown attempt and Deal counters with a nice leg kick. Geoff Deal has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Abel Stamp. Deal lands a jab to Stamp's midsection. Stamp swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Deal counters with a straight right hand. Stamp takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. A cross from Deal lands. Deal turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Stamp's jab looks to have found its range, popping Deal under the eye.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stamp misses with a takedown attempt and Deal counters with a flying knee. Nice. This has been an exciting period of action! Stamp gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Deal counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Stamp is lucky that one didn't land flush. Deal tries to bum rush Stamp with a series of wild strikes but Stamp uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Deal throws the kick towards the body but Stamp avoids it. Deal lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Stamp at a distance.
Deal connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. That kick from Deal tenderised Stamp's leg. Stamp is trying to keep his angry face on. Deal throws a wild body kick that Stamp sees coming a mile off. Deal scores with a push kick. Some wild striking there from Deal.
Stamp's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Deal chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Deal thumps Stamp with a low kick. A slapping body kick lands there for Deal. Stamp with a poor takedown and Stamp takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Stamp takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Geoff Deal is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Deal connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Deal explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Deal thuds a left hand into Stamp's body. Stamp takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Deal. Deal scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Deal throws a nice head kick!
Good shot there by Deal. Deal fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Stamp manages to avoid it. A solid body kick from Deal. Deal scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Stamp doesn't seem bothered though. Stamp has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Deal feints and then cracks Stamp's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Stamp down. A chopping leg kick lands by Deal. Stamp chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Deal can pounce on him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Deal lands with a kick to the ribs.
Stamp takes a body punch but keeps moving. Deal throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Stamp on the side of the head. Stamp on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Deal fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Stamp looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Stamp has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Deal finds it's way round the side to connect with Stamp's head. Stamp has his takedown stuffed and Deal counters with a leg kick. Deal scores with a head kick. Stamp tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Stamp has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Deal. Deal throws a head kick that misses. Deal showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Stamp.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Deal lands with a slapping head kick. Geoff Deal is winning the standup battle so far. Stamp tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Deal counters with a nice leg kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Geoff Deal dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!

The fighters circle momentarily. Deal darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Deal is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Stamp can do to turn this around? Stamp takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Deal lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Stamp throws a head kick that misses. Stamp has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Deal. Stamp shoots in looking for a takedown. Deal tries to sprawl out of it but Stamp keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Deal manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Geoff Deal has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Abel Stamp. Deal takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Deal tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Geoff Deal is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Deal scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Deal dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Stamp. That did some damage! Stamp looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Deal is fending him off so far but Stamp persists. Nope, Deal circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. An inside leg kick lands from Deal. Stamp moves to clinch but Deal breaks away and Deal counters with a slapping leg kick. Abel Stamp has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ouch! a nice leg kick from Deal, right into the meat.

Stamp blinks but takes it well. Stamp tries to clinch but Deal moves away and Deal counters with a leg kick. Stamp looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Deal changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Deal connects with a leg kick. Stamp looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Stamp takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Stamp throws a combination that misses and Deal counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Stamp thinking. Deal scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Stamp doesn't seem bothered though.
And that's the end of the fight! Geoff Deal showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Deal, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
