Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 2, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jeremy Bush! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Al Silva! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bush fails to land the takedown. Bush shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Silva napping and manages to drive through into side control! Bush with the ground and pound but Silva regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Silva slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Silva looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bush is one step ahead there. Silva looking to control.
Bush forces his way into half guard. Silva is staying active underneath Bush, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Silva trying to hold on to Bush's head to control him but Bush postures up.
Bush thows a huge punch but Silva dodges it nicely.

Silva regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Bush. Bush controls from within his opponent's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Silva manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bush manages to get himself to full guard.

Bush trying to control the position from guard on top but Silva is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Silva bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bush's guard. Silva wants to pass the guard but Bush is keeping the position. Silva with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva prevents Bush from getting back to his feet. Silva trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Bush utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Silva loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Bush working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Silva. Silva stops Bush from standing up. Silva lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Silva missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Silva throws a big right hand that misses. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Silva trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Bush wants to stand and escape but Silva is having none of it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Silva loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jeremy Bush will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Nice takedown defense from Silva. No joy for Bush on that attempt. Nice shot by Bush. Silva tries to clinch up but Bush circles away and keeps his distance. Jeremy Bush seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bush is defended easily by Silva. Bush shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Silva as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeremy Bush. That's going to take a lot out of him. Silva is looking to clinch. Bush moves into range and connects with a jab. Silva keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Bush tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Silva swivels and escapes. Bush takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Jeremy Bush is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Silva tries to clinch but Bush moves out of range. Bush fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Silva avoids it really well and circles away. Silva clinches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Silva receives a warning from the referee for stalling. Silva stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Silva displaying some good clinch control by pressing Bush up against the cage. Bush jumps guard but Silva stands there with Bush around his waist. Bush gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Bush is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Silva pulls him back up using the underhooks. Bush wants a takedown.
Silva lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Bush backwards. Silva misses with a punch on the inside.
Bush changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Silva fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Bush shoots and misses and Silva counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Silva.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Silva is stalling in the full guard. Bush is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Silva is controlling him. Bush uses the cage to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Bush gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Silva counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeremy Bush. That's going to take a lot out of him. Silva gets in close and instigates a clinch. Bush blocks an uppercut.

Silva will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Bush up against the cage. Silva misses with a hook from the clinch.

Still in the clinch, Silva scores with a nice short uppercut. Bush tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Silva smiles and moves away.
Silva lands a jab to Bush's midsection. Bush with a lazy takedown attempt and Silva counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Silva gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Silva has Bush pushed against the cage. Silva is working Bush over against the cage.
And that's the end of the fight! Al Silva comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Silva has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
