Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Fisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Emelianenko comes to the cage accompanied by Enea Vollare Mezzo. Fisher is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Must Be The Money. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Fedor Emelianenko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 10 - 1, fighting out of London, Steve Fisher! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Chris Edwards and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Emelianenko wants to clinch up but Fisher keeps it at a distance. Fisher shoots in looking for a takedown but Emelianenko manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fisher's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Emelianenko misses with a few strikes there.
Emelianenko drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Fisher keeping full guard, as Emelianenko tries to pass. Fisher has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Emelianenko can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Emelianenko postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Emelianenko landing with the ground and pound. Emelianenko wants to control from the top but Fisher keeps moving. Emelianenko is pushing down on Fisher's leg trying to pass to half guard. Fisher is fighting to maintain full guard but Emelianenko has managed to sneak the leg through. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Emelianenko looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Fisher with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Fisher wants to improve his position but Emelianenko is controlling well.
Fisher is pressing down on Emelianenko's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Emelianenko trying to control the position from guard on top but Fisher is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Emelianenko works over Fisher with some ground and pound from guard. Fisher keeping full guard, as Emelianenko tries to pass. Fisher looking for a guillotine here but Emelianenko defends easily.
Emelianenko working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Fisher is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Emelianenko showing good wrestling skills to control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Emelianenko trying to control the position from guard on top but Fisher is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fisher avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Emelianenko with a flurry of punches that miss. Emelianenko stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fisher swivels though and keeps the full guard. Emelianenko with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Emelianenko passes Fisher's left leg - he's now in half guard. Fisher has one foot on Emelianenko's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Emelianenko misses with a wild body shot. Emelianenko pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Fisher keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Emelianenko digs a good body shot into Fisher's ribs. Fisher looks gassed! This has been an exciting period of action! Emelianenko tries to clinch up. Fisher takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
It looks like Steve Fisher has been cut.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Emelianenko throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Emelianenko throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Emelianenko tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fisher was well out of range. Poor timing from Emelianenko. Emelianenko fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fisher manages to avoid it. Emelianenko throws a series of punches but Fisher moves out of range. Fisher tries for a takedown but Emelianenko circles away easily and Emelianenko counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Fisher's guard now. Emelianenko trying to control but Fisher is working from the bottom. Emelianenko has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Fisher wants to sweep but no luck. Emelianenko trying to control the position from guard on top but Fisher is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Fisher wants to stand and escape but Emelianenko is having none of it. Emelianenko is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Emelianenko scoring with punches to the head and body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Emelianenko wants to control from the top but Fisher keeps moving. Emelianenko slips nicely into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Emelianenko looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Fisher with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Emelianenko wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fisher keeps working. Emelianenko drops an elbow to the side of Fisher's head. Emelianenko is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Fisher doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Emelianenko. Emelianenko works his way into side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fedor Emelianenko dominated that round. The cut man is working on Steve Fisher's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Emelianenko lands a big shot that drops Fisher! Can he finish him?

Emelianenko slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Emelianenko has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Fisher is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Emelianenko yanks on the arm and Fisher is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Emelianenko.
