This could be trouble! No, Jensen has managed to free his arm - good work. Fajerwerka is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Fajerwerka is looking for a kimura here.
Fajerwerka content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Let's hope that Fajerwerka has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Jensen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fajerwerka on the ground. Fajerwerka is working for a submission of some sort.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Fajerwerka in particular looking to stall.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. I looks like Fajerwerka might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Patryk Fajerwerka was stalling too much, according to the referee. Fajerwerka fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jensen sprawls well initially but Fajerwerka persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Fajerwerka slows the pace down in half guard. Fajerwerka 's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Fajerwerka has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Jensen defend it? Fajerwerka steps over the head and cranks it - Jensen is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Fajerwerka !
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Patryk Fajerwerka !
