Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jay Jay Bee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sanabria Iglesias! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Matheus Silva and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bee tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Iglesias bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Iglesias tries to score with some ground and pound. Bee controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bee is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Iglesias's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Iglesias missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Iglesias controlling the pace. Bee wants to improve his position but Iglesias is controlling well.

That's one minute gone in the round. Iglesias takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Sanabria Iglesias has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Iglesias closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Iglesias has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Iglesias gets a takedown into half guard. Iglesias looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Iglesias decides to stand and escape the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bee misses with a takedown and Iglesias counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Bee! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Iglesias looking to control and managing it successfully. Iglesias is standing up, even though he is in mount. Iglesias moves into the clinch successfully.
Bee could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Iglesias gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bee tries to kick Iglesias off but Iglesias keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Iglesias is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bee is just riding it out for now. Iglesias eventually gives up the hold.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Iglesias trying to control the pace. Iglesias prevents Bee from improving his position. Iglesias is taking a breather. Bee says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Iglesias decides to stand and escape the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Iglesias throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bee tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Iglesias is in Bee's guard. Iglesias tries to free his leg and advance position but Bee is retaining full guard. Iglesias is stalling in the full guard. Iglesias forces his way into half guard. Iglesias works his way into full mount! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bee is desperately trying to improve his position but Iglesias has a good base and remains in mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bee fails with the takedown and Iglesias counters with a nice double leg into side control. Bee won't be happy with that. Iglesias taking a breather here. Bee tries to improve position but can't. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Iglesias advances to full mount. Iglesias is looking to work his way around to Bee's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Iglesias content just to control the position here. Bee is looking to improve his position but Iglesias isn't that keen on the idea. Bee tries to lock up and control but Iglesias gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Iglesias controlling the pace for now. Iglesias is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Bee can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Iglesias moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Bee has worked his arm free - good work by Bee!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Iglesias controls the position. Bee looks to move to half guard but instead Iglesias has passed into mount! Damn! Iglesias sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Iglesias looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Bee wants to control but Iglesias is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sanabria Iglesias showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Iglesias has closed the distance and engaged Bee in a clinch.
Iglesias works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Iglesias has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Bee has his foot on Iglesias's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Iglesias works his way back into a safe position though. Iglesias is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Bee can't keep his opponent in guard - Iglesias advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Iglesias perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Bee wants to improve his position but Iglesias is controlling well.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Iglesias in particular looking to stall. Iglesias decides to stand and escape the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Iglesias bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Bee takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Iglesias decides to stand back up. Iglesias steps back and let's Bee get back to his feet. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Bee closes the distance but Iglesias moves to the side and Iglesias holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Iglesias gets a trip takedown into half guard. Bee is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Iglesias content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bee trying to get back to full guard but Iglesias takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Iglesias controlling from mount. Iglesias with good strikes from the mount here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Iglesias with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Iglesias working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Iglesias is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Bee is in real trouble.
Sanabria Iglesias is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Bee is trying to stand back up. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Iglesias working for the choke.
And that's the end of the fight! Sanabria Iglesias comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Iglesias has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
