Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Micheal De Atrmus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonas Breekman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Micheal De Atrmus! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jonas Breekman! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Bruno Lombardi and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Breekman shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches De Atrmus napping and manages to drive through into side control! An elbow from Breekman crashes against the mat.
De Atrmus sneaks back into half guard. De Atrmus is refusing to be controlled, as Breekman sits in half guard. Breekman takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. De Atrmus blocking the ground and pound attempt from Breekman. De Atrmus wants to control but Breekman is keeping busy.
Breekman throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Breekman is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. De Atrmus doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Breekman. Breekman is working for a kimura but De Atrmus is defending it quite comfortably.
That's one minute gone in the round. Breekman wants to pass the guard but De Atrmus is defending well. Breekman performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Breekman throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. De Atrmus wants to control but Breekman is keeping busy and won't allow it. De Atrmus blocking the ground and pound attempt from Breekman. De Atrmus wants to control but Breekman is keeping busy.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Breekman is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so De Atrmus is just riding it out for now. Breekman eventually gives up the hold. Breekman trying to control from half guard but De Atrmus is working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Breekman is working for a kimura but De Atrmus is defending it quite comfortably.

De Atrmus makes his way to full guard. A much better position for De Atrmus. Breekman advances to half guard. De Atrmus keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Breekman is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Breekman looks gassed! De Atrmus moves into full guard.
Breekman must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Breekman accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Breekman throws and elbow that misses. De Atrmus uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Breekman's guard. Nice move by De Atrmus! De Atrmus looking to pass the guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Breekman looking for a guillotine here but De Atrmus defends easily.
De Atrmus postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jonas Breekman dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
De Atrmus throws a head kick that Breekman semi-blocks.
De Atrmus fails in his attempt to clinch. Breekman scores with a takedown into De Atrmus's guard. Breekman works a leg free and moves into half guard. Breekman trying to control from De Atrmus's half guard. De Atrmus has other ideas though and has regained full guard. De Atrmus is looking to stand up but Breekman isn't so interested in that idea. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. De Atrmus controls Breekman momentarily but Breekman frees himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Breekman trying to control the position from guard on top but De Atrmus is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Breekman is breathing heavily. De Atrmus avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Breekman controlling from the top position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Breekman doesn't manage to clinch there - De Atrmus circles away.
Breekman takes a head kick and keeps coming.
A nice leg kick lands there from Breekman.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. De Atrmus stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and De Atrmus wants it to stay on the feet. De Atrmus throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Breekman shoots in for a takedown but De Atrmus shows good takedown defense. De Atrmus wants to clinch but Breekman slips to the side and Breekman counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Breekman. Breekman postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! De Atrmus is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Breekman, into his guard. Breekman wants to improve his position but instead De Atrmus has moved into half guard.
De Atrmus frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Breekman is wriggling around trying to escape.

That's three minutes gone in the round. De Atrmus trying to control but he's not successful this time. De Atrmus scores with a couple of good head shots there.
De Atrmus can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Breekman is looking to escape. De Atrmus lands a heavy elbow. Breekman is desperately trying to improve his position but De Atrmus has a good base and remains in mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. De Atrmus putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! De Atrmus with the ground and pound from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Breekman is working to get back to half guard.
De Atrmus wants to control the pace but Breekman is squirming around nicely. Breekman is looking to improve his position but De Atrmus isn't that keen on the idea. De Atrmus tries to control but Breekman wriggling away. De Atrmus with shots to the head and body - Breekman looks very uncomfortable down there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Jonas Breekman will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
De Atrmus lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Jonas Breekman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Breekman listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Breekman lands with a thumping leg kick.
De Atrmus leaves Breekman with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Breekman moves out of range as De Atrmus throws a body kick.
De Atrmus tries to keep at a distance but Breekman has taken the fight into the clinch. A battle for position here, against the cage. Breekman holding his opponent close, against the cage.
De Atrmus wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Breekman takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Breekman pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Breekman circles away from the clinch attempt.
De Atrmus looks to clinch and Breekman counters with a thumping low kick. Breekman takes a kick to the side of the head. De Atrmus shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Breekman counters with a shoot takedown. De Atrmus fights it but they end up in guard. Breekman controls from within his opponent's guard. Breekman looking to sit in guard and control but De Atrmus gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. De Atrmus wants to control from the top but Breekman keeps moving. Jonas Breekman has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. De Atrmus slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Breekman sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. De Atrmus is looking to take a break and control but Breekman is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Breekman tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Breekman wants to improve his position but De Atrmus is controlling well.
De Atrmus wants to control but Breekman is keeping him busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
We're going to have a standup here because Micheal De Atrmus wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Breekman wants to clinch. Breekman takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. De Atrmus lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
De Atrmus thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Breekman if he has to take too many more of those.
Breekman avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
De Atrmus shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Breekman but Breekman pushes him off and we're back to square one. De Atrmus gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Breekman counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Breekman. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Micheal De Atrmus. That's going to take a lot out of him. Breekman breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Breekman takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
That's four minutes gone in the round. De Atrmus throws a lazy head kick so Breekman counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Breekman loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Breekman with a flurry of punches that miss. De Atrmus lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Breekman! Breekman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with De Atrmus. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Breekman manages to regain half guard. Good work. Breekman trying to control but De Atrmus postures up.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Breekman looking for submissions off his back. Micheal De Atrmus has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jonas Breekman is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. De Atrmus drops an elbow to the side of Breekman's head.
