Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sean Jitsu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Diego Dos Santos!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dos Santos shoots in for a takedown but Jitsu shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Jitsu looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Dos Santos is trying to maintain the position but Jitsu is very close to passing his half guard.
Jitsu is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Dos Santos defends it well.
Dos Santos misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Dos Santos tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jitsu connects with a nice short shot to Dos Santos's temple.

Dos Santos flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Dos Santos is in trouble now - Jitsu has advanced to mount!
Jitsu raining down shots from the mount!

Jitsu with shots to the head and body - Dos Santos looks very uncomfortable down there.
Dos Santos is rocked!
Dos Santos tries to reverse the position but Jitsu maintains control.
Dos Santos is still in real trouble! Can Jitsu finish him?
Dos Santos looks gassed!
Jitsu lands a heavy elbow.
Jitsu loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Dos Santos scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Jitsu land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Jitsu stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sean Jitsu!
