The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bullard slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Bullard connects with a right hand. Weathers shakes it off.
Bullard slips a jab and a cross from Weathers.
Bullard loads up on a big right hand but Weathers slips the punch.
Bullard dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Bullard works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Weathers throws a front kick aimed at Bullard's knee but Bullard avoids it well.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Weathers.
Bullard ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Weathers is breathing heavily.

Bullard drops Weathers with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Weathers looks back up at him and smiles so Bullard waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Weathers is rocked!

It looks like Demar Weathers has been cut.
Bullard is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Bullard fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Weathers out cold! Brutal finish!
