Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Manny Pacquiao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Drysdale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robert Drysdale will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pacquiao shoots and misses
and Drysdale counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Pacquiao's guard now.
Drysdale drops back looking for a leg! Pacquiao is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pacquiao manages to kick Drysdale off! Drysdale jumps back into Pacquiao's guard.

Drysdale takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Drysdale looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Drysdale wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pacquiao keeps working.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Pacquiao tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Drysdale wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Drysdale is working to tighten is grip on Pacquiao's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Pacquiao has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Drysdale is really squeezing tight and eventually Pacquiao passes out! Drysdale breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
