Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Swisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Mccaughan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Chuck Swisher has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chuck Swisher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Eric Mccaughan! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Swisher dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Mccaughan. That did some damage! Mccaughan chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Swisher can pounce on him.
Swisher pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mccaughan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Swisher, right into the meat.
Mccaughan fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Nice sprawl there from Swisher as Mccaughan shoots in. Swisher motions for Mccaughan to come forward. Swisher throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Swisher throws a quick inside leg kick. Swisher moves in looking to clinch but Mccaughan pushes him off. Excellent takedown into side control there by Swisher. Mccaughan regains half guard, as Swisher was trying to land strikes. Swisher prevents Mccaughan from standing back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Swisher is looking for a kimura here.

Mccaughan should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
That's one minute gone in the round. Swisher is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mccaughan is just riding it out for now. Swisher eventually gives up the hold. Swisher looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Mccaughan misses with a few strikes there.

Mccaughan throws a hook but Swisher blocks it. Swisher scores with a push kick. Mccaughan throws a jab when Swisher was well out of range. Mccaughan looking to land some kicks to the body here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Mccaughan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Swisher throws a leg kick but Mccaughan moved away. Mccaughan falls off balance throwing a combination
and Mccaughan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Mccaughan shoots in looking for a takedown. Swisher tries to sprawl out of it but Mccaughan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Swisher manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Swisher throws a big shot that misses. Swisher tries for a takedown but Mccaughan circles away easily and Mccaughan counters with a single leg into guard. Swisher didn't expect that. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chuck Swisher. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mccaughan stands up and waves to Swisher to follow him. Mccaughan misses with a wild combination.

Swisher postures up in Mccaughan's guard and throws a big left but Mccaughan blocks it. Mccaughan wriggles free and stands up. Swisher shoots and misses and Mccaughan counters with a single leg into guard. Swisher didn't expect that. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Mccaughan gets to his feet - Swisher follows without any prompting. A clash of legs there as Mccaughan blocks the low kick. Swisher tries for a takedown but Mccaughan sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Mccaughan misses with a jab, cross combination.

and Swisher decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Mccaughan's guard. Mccaughan keeping full guard, as Swisher tries to pass. Mccaughan manages to escape and get back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Swisher throws a head kick that misses. Swisher tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Swisher tries to clinch up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Eric Mccaughan will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Swisher is looking to clinch. Swisher tries to clinch but Mccaughan is having none of it. Swisher changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mccaughan looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Swisher is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mccaughan is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Mccaughan prevents Swisher from moving into mount. Swisher is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Mccaughan knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Swisher tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Swisher has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Swisher will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Swisher fails to land a wild elbow strike.
That's one minute gone in the round. Swisher tries to move to mount but Mccaughan blocks the move with his legs. Swisher swings around for an armbar but Mccaughan sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Swisher's guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Mccaughan decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Swisher, up you get! Swisher's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Swisher duly obliges. Swisher connects with a jab. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Mccaughan!

Swisher is desperately trying to improve his position but Mccaughan has a good base and remains in mount. Mccaughan controlling the pace for now. Swisher can't escape the position.

Swisher is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Mccaughan's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Mccaughan's back! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Swisher is throwing strikes by Mccaughan counters by rolling into a better position. After a scramble, Mccaughan regains half guard. It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Swisher with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Eric Mccaughan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
