Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mark Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Isamu The Shark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mark Hunt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Isamu The Shark!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, John Kavanagh and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The Shark shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hunt manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Hunt is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Hunt really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The Shark sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hunt's guard.
Hunt is refusing to be controlled, as The Shark sits in half guard.
Hunt is looking to improve his position.
The Shark lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
The Shark throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
The Shark tries to pass the half guard into mount. Hunt knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The Shark trying to control the pace.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The Shark is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
The Shark trying to control but he's not successful this time.
The Shark looking to control and managing it successfully.
The Shark punching from mount but Hunt doing a good job of avoiding damage.
The Shark landing strikes from the mount and Hunt is in trouble!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The Shark tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Hunt wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
The Shark controlling well, preventing Hunt from escaping the position.
Good control from The Shark.
The Shark throwing wild punches that miss their target.
The Shark trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Hunt doesn't escape.
The Shark wants to control but Hunt is keeping busy.

The Shark is persistently looking for the submission but Hunt is defending it well.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
The Shark lands a shot to the head.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The Shark is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The Shark has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Hunt.
The Shark avoiding Hunt 's attempts to control his hands.
The Shark has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Hunt's body.
The Shark is hanging on to Hunt's back as he tries to escape.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Hunt is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
The Shark has Hunt flattened out and is raining down punches.

The Shark has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The Shark controls the action.
Hunt is covering up but some of the strikes from The Shark are getting through and doing damage.

The Shark working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Hunt is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and The Shark has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Hunt taps out!
