Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Josh Reilly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JC Pasicolan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Josh Reilly has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Josh Reilly seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reilly shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Reilly throws a big right hand that misses. Pasicolan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Reilly trying to control the position from guard on top but Pasicolan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Pasicolan looking for a guillotine here but Reilly defends easily.
Reilly sitting in guard, not really doing much. Pasicolan uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Pasicolan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Pasicolan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Reilly moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Reilly fails with a takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pasicolan throws a sloppy head kick and Reilly moves out of range easily. Reilly throws a nice looking combination but Pasicolan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Reilly moves into the clinch. Reilly pulls guard. Reilly is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Reilly is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Pasicolan wants to stand but Reilly is controlling his posture from full guard. Reilly manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pasicolan manages to get himself to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reilly lands a couple of elbows. Pasicolan is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Reilly with a flurry of punches that miss. Reilly working some strikes from top position. Reilly passes easily into side control. Nice work. Reilly trying to control the position but Pasicolan is working away. Pasicolan is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Reilly asserts his dominance and retains side control. Pasicolan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Reilly. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Reilly blocks the strikes from Pasicolan.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reilly looks up at the clock and then as Pasicolan takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Reilly smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Reilly stands up and we're back to a striking position. Pasicolan tries to close the distance and clinch but Reilly swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Reilly closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Reilly prevents Pasicolan from escaping the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pasicolan looks gassed! Reilly decides to stand up, so the ref orders Pasicolan to his feet. Pasicolan throws a hook but Reilly blocks it. Reilly avoids the body shot from Pasicolan.
Pasicolan gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pasicolan is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Reilly trying to control the position from guard on top but Pasicolan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Reilly gets to his feet - Pasicolan follows without any prompting. Reilly is looking to clinch. Reilly shoots in for a double leg but Pasicolan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Reilly shoots in but no luck this time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Josh Reilly. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pasicolan has closed the distance and engaged Reilly in a clinch.
Reilly prevents a takedown attempt there.
Reilly pulls guard effortlessly. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Josh Reilly dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Reilly tries to clinch but Pasicolan moves out of range. Pasicolan moves in looking to clinch but Reilly pushes him off. Pasicolan lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Pasicolan moves into the clinch. Pasicolan tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Reilly smiles and moves away.
Reilly tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pasicolan swats him away and circles back towards the center. Reilly shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Pasicolan fails in his attempt to clinch. Reilly uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pasicolan.
Pasicolan throws a wild body kick that Reilly sees coming a mile off. Josh Reilly is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Pasicolan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Pasicolan throws a right and a left that both miss. Pasicolan is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reilly fails with an attempt to clinch.
Reilly fails with a takedown attempt. Pasicolan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Pasicolan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Reilly paws at him with a jab and circles away. Pasicolan lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Pasicolan. Reilly drives through with a takedown into guard. Reilly with a flurry of punches that miss. Josh Reilly overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Pasicolan wants to stand and escape but Reilly is having none of it. Reilly lands a couple of decent looking shots. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pasicolan is wriggling around but Reilly manages to pass to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ground and pound from Reilly. Reilly is taking a breather. Pasicolan says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Reilly is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Pasicolan is in trouble now - Reilly has advanced to mount! Pasicolan taking shots to the head. Reilly has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Reilly trying to control but Pasicolan is having none of it. Reilly lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee warns Pasicolan that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Reilly is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Pasicolan is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Pasicolan flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Reilly anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Pasicolan and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Reilly slips an arm under Pasicolan chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Reilly has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Reilly is squeezing on Pasicolan like an anaconda would it's prey. Pasicolan fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
