The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels stuffs the takedown attempt from Doubleday. Doubleday gets slowly back to his feet.
Daniels connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Doubleday momentarily.
Daniels connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Doubleday looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Doubleday is keen to just control but Daniels is a slippery customer.

Daniels is squirming around, avoiding Doubleday's attempts to control the action.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
The referee warns Daniels that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.


The cut above Rob Daniels's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Rob Daniels's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
