Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lex Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Geoff Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burns has chosen Skrillex - Scary Monsters And Nice Sprites as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Black misses with a head kick.
Black circles away from the clinch attempt.
A head kick misses from Black.
Burns jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Black lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Burns wants to clinch.
Burns moves in looking to clinch but Black pushes him off.
Burns looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Burns throws out a loose jab but Black uses good head movement to avoid it.
Black scores with a head kick.
Burns lands a really nice looking cross but Black seems unphased.
Black throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A big right from Black misses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Burns throws a body punch but Black moves out of range.
Black tries a head kick but it misses.
Black takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Black misses with a head kick.
Burns tries to close the distance and clinch up but Black swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Black looks to land a combination but Burns avoids it well.
A slow jab from Burns misses its intended target.
Black on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Burns tries to clinch up but Black circles away and keeps his distance.
Burns takes a kick to the side of the head.
Black walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
A solid leg kick lands there for Burns.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A big right followed by a crushing left from Burns knocks Black out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
