Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pablo DaCosta!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Elijah Larkin!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and .




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Larkin.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Larkin.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from DaCosta.

DaCosta shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Larkin is trying to defend but DaCosta finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Larkin tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

DaCosta is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Larkin sees it coming and defends easily.
Larkin wants to get back to his feet.
Larkin has hold of DaCosta's hands but DaCosta slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Larkin is in trouble now - DaCosta has advanced to mount!
DaCosta takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, DaCosta cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

DaCosta has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

DaCosta wants to finish this one by submission but Larkin is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from DaCosta.

Larkin really wants to buck DaCosta off and get back to his feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
DaCosta not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
DaCosta moves nicely into side control.

Larkin misses with a strike from the bottom.
Larkin tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but DaCosta wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
DaCosta in side control lands a decent elbow.
Larkin is looking to work his way out of this bad position but DaCosta is controlling him well.

DaCosta stands up and we're back to a striking position.

DaCosta feints and as Larkin raises his hands in defense, DaCosta changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!



Larkin gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows DaCosta to score an easy takedown into full guard.

DaCosta has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

DaCosta is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Larkin is surviving well by controlling DaCosta's body position as best he can.
Pablo DaCosta overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Larkin is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

DaCosta seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Larkin for as long as he can get away with.
