Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tom Araya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wes Weddle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Araya comes to the cage accompanied by Angel of Death. The crowd seem to be enjoying Weddle's choice of entrance music: remember the name - fort minor. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Wes Weddle was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Araya fails to land with a series of punches.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Weddle is defended easily by Araya.
Weddle fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Araya sprawls well initially but Weddle persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Araya is looking to control Weddle's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Araya avoid being mounted?

Weddle is just content to waste time from the top position. Araya takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Weddle is on top in guard.
Weddle drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Araya dives on top into guard.
Araya decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Weddle, up you get!

Weddle shoots for a double leg takedown but Araya sprawls well. He's pushed Weddle's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Weddle works over Araya's head and body with a nice combination.
Weddle throws a solid leg kick but Araya takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Weddle.

Weddle closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Weddle wants to take a breather but Araya is having none of it.

Weddle is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Araya is just riding it out for now. Weddle eventually gives up the hold.

Weddle postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Araya is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Weddle, into his guard.
Araya will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Weddle shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Araya napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Araya really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Wes Weddle showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Weddle cracks Araya with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Oh Araya is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Weddle loads up on a big right hand but Araya slips the punch.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Weddle closes the distance looking for a takedown. Araya stuffs it but Weddle still has hold of him. Weddle picks Araya up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Weddle slams Araya to the floor and that's really hurt Araya - he doesn't know where he is! Weddle throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
