Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Paul Desmoraine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Veni Domine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paul Desmoraine has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Edson Gomes and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Domine tries to clinch up
and Desmoraine counters with a nice double leg into side control. Domine won't be happy with that.
Desmoraine tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Domine tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Desmoraine wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Domine gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Domine manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Domine is looking to clinch.
Domine misses with a few strikes there.

Desmoraine missing with a left hand there. Domine was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
The fight stays on the outside here - Domine looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Desmoraine changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Domine looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Desmoraine swings around for an armbar but Domine sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Desmoraine's guard.

Desmoraine shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Domine sprawls well. Domine wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Desmoraine gets slowly back to his feet.

and Desmoraine counters with a nice double leg into side control. Domine won't be happy with that.
Desmoraine goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Domine has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Desmoraine but great work by Domine.

Desmoraine shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Domine moves in looking to clinch but Desmoraine pushes him off.

and Domine counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Paul Desmoraine has been cut.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Domine scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Domine looks to land a left hand but Desmoraine moved out of range nicely.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Domine tries to close the distance and clinch up but Desmoraine swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Domine lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Desmoraine sprawling to the canvas. Domine follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Desmoraine hang on?
