And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Sam Margolis and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Klijt throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Shockey's waist but Shockey gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Van Klijt off to one side.
Van Klijt looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Shockey is fending him off so far but Van Klijt persists. Nope, Shockey circles away and we're back to standing.
Van Klijt is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Shockey throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Shockey stuns Van Klijt with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Shockey fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Shockey tries to close the distance and clinch up but Van Klijt swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Van Klijt circles away from the clinch attempt.
Shockey doesn't manage to clinch there - Van Klijt circles away.
Shockey rushes Van Klijt and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Van Klijt tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Jack Shockey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marco Van Klijt.
Shockey has had enough of the clinch but Van Klijt keeps him there for the moment.
Shockey gets through Van Klijt's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Shockey lands a right hand.
Shockey lands a body shot in the clinch.
Van Klijt looks gassed!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Van Klijt has had enough of the clinch but Shockey keeps him there for the moment.

With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Shockey creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Shockey scores with a shoulder strike.
It looks like Marco Van Klijt has been cut.
Shockey's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Van Klijt circles away from the clinch attempt.
Shockey jabs Van Klijt right on the nose. Van Klijt blinks but takes it well.
Van Klijt swats away the attempt to clinch by Shockey.
Shockey moves into the clinch successfully.
Shockey can't break the clinch.
Shockey managing to block the knees to the body from Van Klijt.
Shockey manages to break the clinch.
Jack Shockey is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Shockey cracks Van Klijt with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Van Klijt looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Shockey finish him?
Van Klijt is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Van Klijt leaves his chin hanging out and Shockey seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Van Klijt crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
