Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jebidiah Knepp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cosas Muy Malas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Knepp comes to the cage accompanied by Amish Paradise. The key to victory for Jebidiah Knepp has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jebidiah Knepp!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cosas Muy Malas!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Knepp has closed the distance and engaged Muy Malas in a clinch.
Muy Malas gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Knepp.
Knepp drops down looking for an ankle pick but Muy Malas pulls his leg out and moves away.
Knepp throws out a loose jab but Muy Malas uses good head movement to avoid it.
Muy Malas uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Knepp.

Muy Malas has hold of one of Knepp's legs. Knepp is fighting the takedown attempt but Muy Malas gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Muy Malas wants to control from the top but Knepp keeps moving.
Muy Malas looking to sit in guard and control but Knepp gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Knepp avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Muy Malas is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Knepp has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Knepp!

That was a close second round but I would say that Jebidiah Knepp will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jebidiah Knepp.
Well Knepp has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
