Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Nich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Fitzwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nich comes to the cage accompanied by This Calling. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nich lands a two punch combo.
Fitzwell stuns Nich with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Nich wants to clinch up but Fitzwell keeps it at a distance.
Fitzwell on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Nich shoots in looking for a takedown. Fitzwell tries to sprawl out of it but Nich keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fitzwell manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Fitzwell working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Nich's head.
Fitzwell cracks Nich with a solid left hand.
Fitzwell stands up over Nich, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Nich is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Fitzwell is controlling him.
Fitzwell is looking to stand up but Nich won't let him.
Fitzwell works over Nich with some ground and pound from guard.
Fitzwell is working Nich over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Fitzwell tries to stand but Nich is controlling from the bottom.

Nich wants to sweep but no luck.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Nich manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Nich scores with the left hand. Fitzwell knows he should have avoided that one.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fitzwell will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Nich throws a series of punches but Fitzwell avoids them all with ease.

Nich comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Fitzwell drops his hands momentarily and Nich takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Nich fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tommy Nich. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nich shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fitzwell but Fitzwell pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Fitzwell tries to move into full mount but can't pass Nich's legs.
Fitzwell lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Nich regains half guard.
Fitzwell is looking to stall here but Nich recovers full guard.
Fitzwell prevents Nich from getting back to his feet.

Fitzwell is looking to work some ground and pound but Nich has wrist control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Nich is trying to keep Fitzwell in close.
Fitzwell throws and elbow that misses. Nich uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Fitzwell's guard. Nice move by Nich!

Fitzwell decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Fitzwell seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Nich does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Fitzwell lands a nice short elbow.

Nich instigates a clinch.
Nich changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Fitzwell fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Nich throws a right and a left that Fitzwell avoids nicely.
Fitzwell connects with a stiff jab that staggers Nich - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
