Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Russell Belcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carter comes to the cage accompanied by MMA highlights 2010. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Paul Carter! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Russell Belcher! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carter misses with a straight right. Belcher scores with a nice head shot.
It looks like Paul Carter has been cut. Belcher swings for the body but Carter moves out of range.
Carter slips under a jab from Belcher. Belcher lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Carter moves away from the strike by Belcher. Carter misses with a shot to the body letting Belcher counter with a right hand. Belcher with a nice cross. Belcher scores with a punch to the head. Carter looks to land a combination but Belcher avoids it well. Belcher lunges at Carter with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Carter's hand. Belcher lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Belcher misses with a looping left. Carter rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Belcher moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Carter walks into a left hand. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Belcher closes the distance and clinches. A short uppercut from Belcher. Belcher lands an uppercut.
Carter is rocked! Belcher throws a punch but it's blocked by Carter.
That's one minute gone in the round. Belcher makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Oh Carter is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Belcher tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Carter seems to have got his legs back now. Belcher gets through Carter's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Belcher creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Carter's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Carter drops to his knees and Belcher pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Russell Belcher! Russell Belcher is the new light heavyweight champion!
