The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holyfield connects with a looping right hand.
Holyfield dodges the punch combination from Kenyon.
Holyfield misses with a double jab
and Kenyon cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Holyfield throws a combination that misses
and Kenyon counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Evander Holyfield has been cut.
Holyfield feints a jab promting Kenyon to slip. Holyfield then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Kenyon slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Holyfield throws a combination that misses
and Kenyon counters with a shoot takedown. Holyfield fights it but they end up in guard.
Holyfield is rocked!
Kenyon gets to his feet and stands over Holyfield, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Holyfield felt that one! Kenyon unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Holyfield from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Michael Kenyon!
