Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Overeem Fedor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lloyd Banks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Banks has chosen on fire as his entrance music. Lloyd Banks will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Saam Ante and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banks lands a nice looking kick to the body. Fedor takes a step back to recover.
Fedor defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Banks.
Fedor uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Banks.
Fedor avoids the head kick by Banks.
Banks shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fedor pinned against the cage. Fedor gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Banks wants to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Banks throws an overhand right that lands on Fedor's shoulder, as Fedor tries to avoid the shot.
Banks feints and then cracks Fedor's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Fedor down.
Fedor is breathing heavily.
Banks thuds his shin into the meat of Fedor's side.
Lloyd Banks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Banks tries to clinch up but Fedor circles away and keeps his distance.
Fedor slaps away a takedown attempt from Banks, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Overeem Fedor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lloyd Banks.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fedor on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Banks. Banks obviously looking to wear him down.
Banks lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Fedor avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Banks shoots in and drives through. Fedor sprawls well.
A head kick misses from Banks.
Banks has Fedor up against the cage in a clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fedor is working for takedown but Banks is calmly controlling the position for now.
Fedor prevents the takedown attempt.
Banks tries to pull guard but Fedor holds him up against the cage and eventually Banks drops back down to his feet.
Banks has Fedor pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Fedor manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Banks drops down looking for an ankle pick but Fedor pulls his leg out and moves away.
Banks fails with the takedown.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Fedor misses with a takedown attempt
and Banks counters with a one-two to the body.
Banks rushes Fedor and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Banks successfully pulls guard.
Banks is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Fedor drops back looking for a leg! Banks is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Banks manages to kick Fedor off! Fedor jumps back into Banks's guard.
Banks working a defensive guard here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lloyd Banks dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Banks throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Banks misses with a takedown attempt
and Fedor counters with a single leg into guard. Banks didn't expect that.
Banks can't keep his opponent in guard - Fedor advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Fedor wants to work for an arm triangle but Banks is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Banks has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Fedor is working away from the top position though.
Fedor is trying for a kimura here. Banks looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Fedor wins by kimura!
